Joseph M. Valdez, MD MPH
Dr. Valdez is the Geisinger’s Addiction Medicine Fellowship Program Director and a Clinical Assistant Professor at Geisinger Commonwealth School of Medicine. Dr. Valdez has over a decade of experience as a board-certified addiction medicine specialist, previously serving as Medical Director for outpatient addiction services at Mercy Hospital in Portland, Maine, where he integrated addiction care into primary and inpatient settings.

Anna M. Squibb, MD FAAFP
Dr. Squibb is Associate Professor of Family Medicine at Wright State University and Program Director of the Addiction Medicine Fellowship in Dayton, Ohio. She is a family physician and addiction medicine specialist with clinical experience across outpatient, hospital, residential, and maternal care settings. Dr. Squibb's work focuses on expanding addiction medicine education and improving care for individuals and families affected by substance use disorders.
Sydney M. Silverstein, PhDDr. Silverstein is an Associate Professor in Population and Public Health Sciences and Clinical Assistant Professor of Psychiatry at Wright State University. Her work focuses on addiction, recovery, substance use disorders, and the social dimensions of drug policy.
Nicholas Hoffman, DODr. Hoffman is an Addiction Medicine Fellow at Wright State. He is a board-certified emergency physician and board-eligible medical toxicologist. His clinical and academic interests include acute withdrawal management, novel psychoactive substances, cardiovascular drug toxicity management, and the intersection of medical toxicology and addiction medicine. He enjoys teaching while continuing to learn from colleagues and patients.
