Daniel J. Murphy, MD
Dr. Murphy is an Assistant Clinical Professor of Psychiatry at the University of Arizona and faculty in the Addiction Medicine Fellowship at Banner – University Medicine. He is board certified in Family Medicine and focuses on the care of patients with substance use disorders.
He received his medical degree from Loyola University Chicago Stritch School of Medicine and completed his family medicine residency and addiction medicine fellowship at the University of Arizona College of Medicine – Tucson.
He received his medical degree from the State University of New York Downstate Medical Center and completed his residency at Montefiore Medical Center.

Dr. Pennington is a family medicine physician who, at the time of this presentation (January 2026), was an Addiction Medicine Fellow at the University of Arizona College of Medicine – Tucson.
