Valerie Carrejo, MD, FAAFP FASAM
Dr. Carrejo is the Program Director of the Addiction Medicine Fellowship at the University of New Mexico and a family medicine physician specializing in addiction medicine. She is board certified in Family Medicine and Addiction Medicine.
Her clinical work focuses on the evaluation and treatment of substance use disorders, with an emphasis on integrating addiction care into primary care settings.
Noah Jordahl, MDDr. Jordahl is an Addiction Medicine Fellow at the University of New Mexico and an emergency medicine physician. He completed his Emergency Medicine residency at the University of Utah and previously practiced in Shiprock, New Mexico, on the Navajo Nation.His clinical interests include the treatment of substance use disorders, harm reduction, drug policy, emergency department–initiated addiction treatment, and the social determinants of health.
Sarah Stroup, MDDr. Stroup is an Addiction Medicine Fellow at the University of New Mexico. She recently completed her Family Medicine residency at the University of New Mexico, where she developed an interest in addiction medicine and caring for patients with substance use disorders.Her clinical interests include integrating addiction treatment into primary care and expanding access to evidence-based care for patients with substance use disorders.
